The UK’s hedgehog population needs saving! Do your little bit to help by growing British wildflowers using these seed balls to create a hedgehog friendly garden. The wildflowers provide hedgehogs with shelter and help attract a range of insects for the hedgehogs to feast on! Each ball contains approximately 30 seeds and features a mix of yellow rattle, tufted vetch, red clover and poppies.
Seedball has teamed up with and donate to People’s Trust for Endangered Species to help our hedgehogs. Since the turn of the century the UK’s population of hedgehogs has dropped 50%! They are the perfect little gift for your green-fingered, animal-loving friend.
These seeds are fun to plant and easy to use, making it an excellent garden activity to do with kids and grandchildren. Simply sprinkle the seed balls over 1 square metre, or in 3 to 5 medium-sized pots, making sure there is at least 10cm of space between each ball.
These seed balls are made right here in the UK and are peat free.
