An antique 1940s cocktail watch, based on the famous 1920s Metropolis architecture seen in Fritz Lang’s silent film. Creating a Neo-Gothic futurism of Art Deco designs.
This pre-owned Antique Cocktail 25mm Ladies Watch displays a petite, square copper dial, enveloped by a white border on which are printed Arabic numerals set with plume watch hands. All powered by a hand wound mechanical movement. The case is presented in Yellow Gold, with a unique tapered, stepped design, with a diamond set Millegrain bar. Secured to the wrist with an opulent double rope bracelet complete with hinged safety catch.
A true must for any collector or aficionado of antique cocktail watches. The solid construction is a testament to its durability since its production.
